This is an impeccable and incendiary set by the New Christs. The sound is very good, Rob is in great shape and the musicianship is absolutely stunning, particularly the complementarity between guitarists Dave Kettley and Brent Williams. Considering the relative scarcity of live material by the New Christs, we shouldn’t be too fussy. Of course, I know that videos converted to sound files are frown upon by some, but here my ears tell me that there’s nothing wrong with the sound quality. Anyway, try and grab the video there.
This blog is aimed at the rock and roll enthusiast, with no further ambition than to provide lovingly homemade artwork for bootleg recordings of bands that I particularly enjoy.
