 Oh yes! Something that I started doing with this one is to put a picture of the venue on the tray card and I even went as far as using the very font used on the façade of the town and country club, which is called Dalelands Uncial, just in case some of you are interested.

Just like the previous album, I have made my own selection and kept only the live versions of the original tracks on the album and made my own artwork. Just like in the first - and the third - 'Live' album, Stinky has included an excerpt from the phenomenal - emphasis totally justified - interview of Ban Baird by Craig Garber on his YouTube channel called Everyone Loves Guitar. Georgia Satellites - Georgia Satellites: First Album Live! - Stinky's Homemade Records

On the excellent jonderblog, a Live version of the First Georgia Satellites album can be found, with fifteen mouth-watering tracks plus two interview excerpts! Get it here! I promise you won't regret it! I have made my own selection in order to stick to the 10 original tracks by the Sats and removed all other tracks, including the two interview parts. I have also made my own artwork for it. However, as I was unable to track a live version of Golden Light, I have put a version of this song by Dan Baird and Homemade Sin, which is what Stinky did for his second and third 'Live' albums by the Satellites.

 

The Del-Lords Le TrucK - Lyon Vénissieux France - April,10 1989

 A band that I'm particularly fond of! I know, the cover picture does not really correspond to the year of the recording and neither does the picture of the inside of the booklet. Yet, pictures of the Del Lords are especially difficult to find on the Internet. I was about to steal Robert Spencer's excellent pictures of the Del-Lords live in Estonia in 1989 when I finally decided to make do with what I already had. Again, it is what it is and might be upgraded in time. You may want to grab the video there.

Completed, at last! FIXED UP ST AMANT-ROCHE SAVINE, 1 Aug 1987

Live boots from FIXED UP are not exactly commonplace. All tracks have now been identified except number 11, which happens to be one of Fixed Up's original compositions. Alas! Even straight from the horse's mouth, no success! I have been waiting - in vain - for pictures of their equipment. In the absence of real pictures from the actual gig, one has to be creative, I guess...

The Gun Club - Salle des Fêtes, Dijon-Marsannay, France - April 11, 1983

 This is my very first attempt at a Gun Club bootleg cover. There is always the challenge of finding a suitable band picture and possibly one that hasn't been overused. I tried to emulate something close to New Rose records aesthetics, based on graey and old rose... Anyway, it is what it is and from here, things can only get better. If you haven't got it yet, try and get this recording from there. Oh, and while we are talking Gun Club, the excellent Mr. Eliminator of the extraordinary Surfadelic blog has just issued an excellent Live album entitled Preaching the Blues Fire of Love Live that you can get there.
